Graded 2.5 Good+ by SGC. William (Klondike) Douglass had one of the better turn-of-the-century baseball nicknames and presents even better on the offered 1903 E107 Breisch-Williams example! The Pennsylvania native is pictured during his final big league season on this handsome portrait which exhibits penetrating black-and-white player/background details. Despite an upper edge wrinkle and light staining on the bottom right corner of the reverse, this "One of a hundred and fifty prominent Baseball players" back is problem-free with dark text. Of the seven total judged by SGC, this Type survives as the lone example at the grading level with only one better!
