Mickey Mouse was still a relative new-comer in the public eye when he made the jump from the silver screen to the print media in 1930s. First came a comic strip in 1930, and in 1935 the always upbeat Mr. Mouse made his way to the bubble gum card world. Get a grip on this iconic Disney character's cardboard debut, with these (2) 1935 R89 Gum, Inc. Mickey Mouse Bubble Gum Picture Card Albums. Featured are Volume 1, and Volume 2 albums. Both of these antique albums are fairly clean and solid, with Volume 1 showing EX details with deference to minor soiling; and Volume 2 showing VG details, with a child's name written on the "Property Of" line at bottom-left on the front cover. The Volume 1 albums has (18) cards pasted in, with 67% showing VG to EX details, and 33% presenting as lesser, with small adhesive stains and/or minor surface paper loss. Opening Bid $100.
