Graded VG 3 by PSA. While George Herman (Babe) Ruth is noticeably absent from the 1934 Goudey edition, the "Sultan of Swat" did make an appearance for the 1934 World Wide Gum issue! Only 83 total copies of card #28 have been evaluated by the authenticator. This Canadian parallel of #53 from the 1933 Goudey series is properly centered with evenly worn corners, off-white edges and a clean bilingual green text reverse. A series of surface abrasions to the left of Ruth's stately batting pose does little to distract from this gum card's overall presentation.
