Throughout “Tiger” Woods 2000-2008 association with Buick, he won the Buick Open 3X, and the Buick Invitational 5X. More importantly, Woods won each of the four Majors tournaments 3X during his nine-year sponsorship by the famous auto maker. From the “Tiger Slam” era, comes this Woods signed c.2001 Buick signature model full-size golf bag. The Tiger Slam era is a reference to the 2000-2001 period, when Woods became the only player to win the four different Majors tournaments consecutively, though not in the same year. Attained at a long ago charity event, this deluxe white, black and red bag makes a splendid presentation. The front is embroidered in big and bold fashion with “Tiger Woods” in gold lettering, followed by a stitched facsimile version of Woods signature, and finally the Buick logo at bottom. Woods has applied a (“7-8”) strength black felt-tip autograph on one of the white side panels, next to the Buick name. While small spots of surface wear are noted at several points, this handsome bag remains highly appealing, and comes with the original hood and strap. Also present, are a Titleist SM5 wedge club in like-new state, a lightly used Ping Anser 2 putter, and a True Blue towel made Players Towel. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. Opening Bid $500.
