Score a top-rated comic, with this 6/53 St. John Lucy, The Real Gone Gal #1 issue. CGC has rated this pre-code comic (7.5, Off-White to White Pages), making it the "1of 1" highest graded example on its Census. Golden Age comics with risqué artwork enjoy high demand, and this bright, clean #1 issue depicts the title character Lucy in "Good Girl" art style, wearing a skintight bathing suit, showing lots of flesh on the front cover. Overstreet's guide notes "Negligee panels", of which there are several throughout the multiple stories in this vintage comic. Artwork is by Lily Renée, one of the earliest women to work in the comic book industry. Under this title, Lucy, The Real Gone Girl ran for just four issues, but two more were published under a new title, "Meet Miss Pepper," and all of these Golden Age issues look to be scarce.
